I was very confused when I read the comments posted on May 20th and April 22nd. We have not had ANY teachers leave this year. As a matter of fact, we have very little teacher turnover and most of our teachers have been with us for several years. We only have one staff child in our school and he is treated like every other student. Also, I don't believe our principal or receptionist would ever talk in a rude or inappropriate way in the front office. Based on all of the misinformation in these posts, I strongly believe these comments were posted under the wrong school. Calibre Academy of Glendale is WONDERFUL! We have an exceptional principal, phenomenal teachers, and amazing students!

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Arizona used the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) to test students in reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8 and 10, writing in grades 5, 6, 7, and 10, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 10. GreatSchools' profiles currently show AIMS mathematics, reading and writing results. 2013 AIMS grade 10 results represent on-track 10th graders for the 2013 test year. AIMS is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students have mastered Arizona learning standards. Students must pass the grade 10 AIMS in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards on the test.
