My husband and I love and appreciate the staff at Guiding Light Christian Education School. Our grandson loves going to school and is enthusiastic about learning! It fills our hearts with gratitude in knowing he is not only achieving academic goals, but more importantly, is learning about Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior. There is no greater gift than knowing Jesus loves us and died for our sins. Academics are important, but academic achievement without morals and ethics is meaningless. Thank you Guiding Light staff, for providing a well-balanced education; mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually healthy and happy children abound! You are in our prayers!

Guiding Light has made such as difference for my daughter they have taught her to grow and develop as a individual, make new friends and most important teach her values in faith and educate her to help her advance and be motivated to learn. They are a very caring and well structured school and great at keeping an open communication with the parents on how your child is advancing. They host many functions for the kids to gather and play, they also offer many programs to assist parents who may not be financially able to send their child to school. Guiding Light is the best school in Lake Havasu and carries the best reputation that is why I trust my childs education and develpoment to them.

Guiding Light (GLCP) plays such an important role in our community, Mohave County and surrounding areas and has been an active well-respected part of our community for 20 plus years. GLCP offers an innovative program with high quality standards and utilizes best practices to ensure outstanding education for all the children in the program. Education remains an important focus for GLCP; it ensures children to have a chance to excel in their lives. Stability alone demonstrates proficiency in implementing this great program.

Guiding Light is a top notch educational facility. Children are our first priority. Making learning a fun, and enriching experience, is equal only to creating a positive Christian environment that stresses responsibility, perseverance and confidence and self-worth.

they take the time to teach the children. they also have a smaller class so that the children learn more with more one on one contact with the teacher.

Quality of care It has been my experience that the staff at Guiding Light take wonderful care of the children entrusted to them each day. They are warm, friendly people that are willing to address any concerns you might have regarding your child. I would place any child of mine in the caring hands of the Guiding Light staff. What a great school My Daughter went to this school for many years, until sadly we had to move to another state. I am happy to say that I truly believe this school is one of the best. They have friendly loving staff that is always looking out for your child's educational needs as well as safety, health, social and emotional well being. It has been a huge challenge for me to find another school that measures up to the same standards as Guiding Lights. My child will always have the basic fundamentals and great memories thanks to Guiding Light and it's staff. July 30, 2008 by Cassandra Bates in Sedro Woolley, WA

Excellent school. I had twins that had learning problems and attended Smoketree Elem. special programs half days. GL walked my kids to/from Smktree and met w/ their teachers at SMktree regarding their cirriculum/progress so both schools could focus same area and ensure motivation rewards were the same at both schools. GL teachers were encouraging and caring even tho dealing w/ my son was a nightmare. My kids loved the school and their teachers. I even enjoyed hanging out at the school ! Parents were encouraged to come in at any time. The entire staff was supportive and easy to approach. Sadly we moved, but my kids still talk about GL, their teachers and friends. My kids attended age 3-5. That is positive impact when most kids don't remember things from that age !

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
