Our daughter has attended White Mountain Montessori School for 4 years (2 in preschool, kindergarten and now first grade) and we absolutely love it! All of the teachers are respectful, kind and caring in keeping with the Montessori philosophy... not to mention that they are providing a wonderful education for our daughter. I highly recommended this school.
This is by far the best education you can give your preschool or elementary child in the White Mountains. Our son attended White Mountain Montessori from 3 to 9 years old and all of his teachers were wonderful. When he was 4 years old he already had the tools to read independently!! By the age of 9 he was performing at a 5th grade level in reading and math. The Montessori style of learning has been the best choice for our child. The emphasis was always on developing respect for others, self-motivation, and dynamic learning. The director is knowledgeable and a great leader for this small school. The teachers are friendly, patient, and nurturing. The music and art programs at WMMS are excellent as well. I wholeheartedly recommend this school to anyone interested in having their child be excited about learning.
