i am a freshman at skyline high school,,, it has to be one of the worst schools in mesa distrcit do not come here,
My son graduated from Skyline this year (2012).. the teachers and staff are great! However, I am very disappointed that the school does not seem to know who took pictures of our kids getting their diplomas.. I counted on the person they hired to get tht pic for me, now there is no way of tracking down who took those pics, so a momento is lost... thnx Skyline!
Awesome teachers and the techers are always so funny and caring!!!! Best high school I've been too!!! Great campus and very well taking care of!!! Awesome school!!!
I'm an alumni student from class of '06. Skyline is a great school lots of good kids, not a whole lot of drugs or gang activity. Awesome music program. Choir always got the highest ratings.
Lot's of altercations & police activity. VERY HIGH Drop-out rate!!! Some teachers fail over 75% of their class? Sounds more like the teachers are the problem! Thank God we are moving to another area next week!
I'm an alumni student, class '05 of Skyline. I never had a teacher that I disliked. All of them were amazing. I'll never forget these people. They helped make me who I am today. And they serve grades 10-12, not 7-12.
The school continues to grow and make new achievements. It is great to see programs like clubs and athletics really begin to achieve and make strides toward greatness.
I attend Skyline as a junior and I feel it is truly an exceptional school. Skyline teachers and staff work very hard to make their students comfortable and provide them with many different opportunities. Now whether or not students embrace them is a different story. This year has been a turning point for the school and everything is looking up. Skyline is starting to edge ahead in sports and their academics are as strong as ever. I recommend Skyline to anyone in the area.
i attend skyline high school right know.Skyline is a great school i love it!the have great classes, great teachers and staff and a great curriculim.
I graduated from Skyline in 2003 and really enjoyed my time there. It's a great campus and I enjoyed most of my teachers and classes.
I was not impressed with Skyline at all. My child was bored to tears in most of her academic classes. She is into drama, dance, and choir, and her instructors were disappointments.
This school was only two years old when my daughter attended it as a senior. She had several teachers who went out of their way to help her in her subjects. Because the school was still small in numbers, my daughter really felt that she had a personal relationship with her teachers.
Our daughter seems to really enjoy her experience. There are exceptional teachers with the majority giving personalized care. The principal is a very fair and focused gentleman.
Skyline is a relatively new school in east mesa. It has a reputation of not being as good as some of the more established schools, but this isn't true. Students are treated with respect and expected to achieve as much here as at any other public high school in the district. Many families at this school fall into the lower income categories, which often means that richer schools look down their noses, but they shouldn't. The faculty is hard working and caring. The students are bright. This is a good place to be.
the level of teacher involvement is horable we didn't know our child was struggleing untill it was too late we never got one call from a teacher to set up any kind of help or to let us know something was wrong thay don't seame to care if the kids pass or fail at all...
Skyline is the newest Mesa High School and is continually growing in all areas. Sportd, academics, art programs and all extracurricular programs are gaining momentum each year. I expect this school will we a main competitor state wide in teh future but we need to get enrollment up to par with the other schools for that to happen.
My 16 year old daughter has gone to Skyline for a year now. The school is pretty new, but thats no reason for them to not protect their female students from any kind of harassment. The school is a big huge disappointment to me and my daughter. My daughter is afraid of going to school. I hope no one goes to this school will have this problem. Thank you for taking your time to read this.
Skyline is a wonderful comprehensive school. I've had and enjoyed the opportunity to be a substitute with the school's great students.
