My two children attend this school and love going to school. My Kindergarten student is reading and math at first grade level. My third grader is reading at 4th grade level. The teachers are great. The principal is fantastic. I highly recommend this school.

This has been an amazing school year for the son in the 5 grade at LFAPA. The teacher has excelled at his job. My son has improved his reading level by 2 grade because of his teacher and this school. The staff makes us feel at home and welcome anytime. The Principal is amazing and care deeply about every student. Great Place to be

My child has gone to this school since it first opened last year. I was amazed to see the transformations this year. Everyday she is so excited to go to school. It is such a warm caring environment. You can feel it in the atmosphere. The teachers really give her the one on one support that she needs. We love this school!

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Arizona used the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) to test students in reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8 and 10, writing in grades 5, 6, 7, and 10, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 10. GreatSchools' profiles currently show AIMS mathematics, reading and writing results. 2013 AIMS grade 10 results represent on-track 10th graders for the 2013 test year. AIMS is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students have mastered Arizona learning standards. Students must pass the grade 10 AIMS in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards on the test.
