my son has attended here for 1.5 years...biggest mistake of my life. He is miserable, and isn't learning much..oh except foul language, how to fight, how to argue, and how it feels to be discriminated against based on race. Staff do nothing about my son being called white trash, white boy etc and they brush it under the rug because what else can they do, is what I'm told. My son can't even physically defend himself from physical bullying because that's not allowed. Staff don't want to hear it from him or us parents. I have had meetings, calls, emails you name it to try and get involved...I can't wait to get him out of this school. I fear the damage this place has done and already know the lost time in lack of education. Tried to place him in other schools up to ten miles away, all were full, and most of the closer ones were kids LEAVING this school for the same reasons. Don't do it...don't take your kids to this place

I as a parent made the mistake of a lifetime in my childrens education -moving from eisenhower school dist. to a northern calif. school district. I never could have imagined that a school could function so poorly after pulling my children out of eisenhower.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Arizona used the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) to test students in reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8 and 10, writing in grades 5, 6, 7, and 10, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 10. AIMS is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students have mastered Arizona learning standards. Students must pass the grade 10 AIMS in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards on the test.
