My kids love their teachers. I like how my daughter's teacher handles bullies. The staff is always very helpful.

All 3 of my kids have attended Kerr, this is my youngest's last year. I've gotten to know most of the teachers and they are great! The office staff needs to be more welcoming to parents and/or visitors. They don't come out and ask 'Good Morning/afternoon how can I help you'? They just stare at you till you ask them the question. There are a couple that are helpful but not all.

I feel that the teachers at this school are wonderful. My problem with this school is the office staff.I have never one time went felt welcomed. They make you feel like you are bothering them by coming in,or calling.I like to be involved with my childrens school, but I find myself not wanting to deal with rude people I have to go through to get to the classroom.

This school has a wonderful, diverse community. The principal and staff work hard to make this a positive factor. I feel the campus is very safe and I feel welcome at the school. The teachers really care about my child. Parent involvement is average.

My daughter is in the school band program and I have been impressed with the band teacher. I have not recieved any test scores as of yet because my daughter is a new student but she seems to be doing well so far.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Arizona used the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) to test students in reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8 and 10, writing in grades 5, 6, 7, and 10, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 10. AIMS is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students have mastered Arizona learning standards. Students must pass the grade 10 AIMS in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards on the test.
