I absolutely love this school. My kidergartener has grown so much with in this last year. The teachers are extremely caring and well qualified. My daughter loves to go to school. The extended care program and after school programs are perfect. The extended care staff are great and the kids love going. I have even seen several children upset to leave the extended care when it's time to go home.
CCS provides a wonderful, supportive environment for kids and they absolutely flourish in it! This school is absolutely fantastic - the teachers are very involved in their students progress both acedemically and spiritually. The kids have their own support system and are so encouraging of each other; it's just a joy to see them interacting. CCS academics are among the best available and they encourage music in such a way that my normally reserved son thoroughly enjoyed performing in the musical productions in front of very large crowds. My son was more than adequately prepared to meet the challeges of public school life after attending CCS for 5 years. I would highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a first quality private Christian education for their child.
CASAS has a great campus, with lots of facilities available ie a pretty impressive computer lab.
Our son is very bright, and was getting into trouble after completing his work for things like talking loudly and wandering around the classroom. His teacher was unresponsive, and the administration was not open to our suggestions, refusing to allow him to move into a different classroom with a different teacher. After months of frustration, three suspensions, and being threatened with expulsion (this is a kindergarten student), we pulled our son and placed him in the local public school. He finished kindergarten with honors, is being placed in a gifted classroom this year, and his teacher couldn't say enough good things about him. He has NEVER been in trouble at the new school. The faculty at Casas was intolerent and unwilling to allow our son to act like a child. Parents, please be careful. If you have a bright or excitable child, consider a different school.
Our child has been attending Casas since preschool and is now in 5th grade. We have only had positive experiences at Casas. The teachers, administration and staff are all top notch. The academics are first rate. For the past 2 years our child has scored in the top 2-3% of the SATs and we credit the excellent educational standards of Casas. Our child is involved in several extracurricular activities and this would be the only area that we would like to see Casas expand, more fine arts, more low-cost after school activities, as some are outside our budget. (The after care fees are a bit high and we would like to see them go down also since they are not subsidized based on income). But as for the school itself, its excellent and we recommend enrollment for committed Christian families.
