DVES has provided many years of great quality academic experience. My oldest is now a Sophomore, two in middle school. DVES has always been fair in treatment to my children. Currently, I have my five year old enrolled in DVES, because of all the positive educational environment that was received by my children who have gone onto higher grade level. The discipline is fair and just, policy is wonderfully written. Teaching staffs are excellent and are always welcoming parents and visitors. Principal is knowledgeable of his responsibilities and duties and adheres to school policies. All is fair and any student who attends DVES with Parental Involvement will have a student with good educational experience. All four of my children have such good educational experience that they look forward to each day of . Perfect Attendance for many years by student who rides the school bus for one hour one way each day. Wendi

Desert View School has a great program in place and some very well qualified teachers, but has problems with harrassment of minority students(anglo) by other students and bullying of those students by the other students which has no been addressed well by the current administration. My child feels safer staying in his classroom at lunch instead of playing outside at noon, and his teacher gives him and other children this option. A program of organized play would help aleviate this problem and help to prevent the harrassment of other children on the playground.
