I noticed that the reviews on this page are several years old- this middle school used to be excellent but I would not work there or send my child there now. The discipline system is in ineffective, teachers do not receive any support and only certain parents receive support and attention. The current principal is trying very hard to turn it around but the overall district administration is not very supportive either.

I would not think about putting my four children in any other school district. PUSD has been wonderful toward myself and husband when we come into the three schools that our children attend. All have been helpful and mannered. The counselor at the high school is doing excellent work in helping my sophomore student. DVES has for the passed four years been very understanding when it came to discipling my son. Middle school has met all my expectation of a great transition for all three of my children. The Superintendent of our school district is very involved with the Navajo community when IEC sets up meetings. PUSD Board Members have responded to community questions, excellent communication. It all comes down to communication, schools cannot respond when parents are not involved with their children's education. I encourage ALL parents to be involved by calling, visiting or writing to PUSD staff. Wendi Page

This middle school is by far the best my child ever attended I would especially like to point ouy the extraordinary teaching method of Mrs. Debbie Couch she helped my daughter out of a tight spot and I would love to thank her.
