This school has very low standards and no discipline. The teachers are not qualified. I do not recommend it.

I've only been going here this school year and already have a lot of friends. Our teacher Glenn has been giving me a lot of one on one attention which is exactly what I needed. Although the teenagers can be a little mean everyone can lighten up to them in a while. I love this school and it is so much better than RCMS i hope i can stay here until 10th grade

This is without a doubt the greatest school in the greater Arizona area if not the entire country. It's not because it has a million different classrooms, or has state of the art equipment, or anything to fancy. But the teachers are probably the most amazing bunch of people in the whole world. They're all very intellectual, caring, and open minded. There are many rumors that go around Payson about this school and it's teachers, but let me assure you now they are not true whatsoever. I love waking up and getting to go to beautiful little Tonto Village for school everyday. Anyone who isn't a small minded moron can easily see that the Shelby School is truly an amazing place. It's not just a school, it's a family.

This school was a real life saver. My son was being bullied his first year at Payson High, and the classes were so big he never got any attention. The Shelby School has a very friendly setting and gave him all the attention he needed.

I think this is the best place parents should put there kids in school. The teachers really reach out to them and my child comes home happy.

My 13 year old daughter has attended the Shelby School for years. She's in the 8th grade. My older son graduated from this school and he went on to take his GED exam and received very high marks. Because the school is small it helps my daughter get the attention she needs. She has made alot of progress this year. Another thing I like about this school is that the teachers seem to care about the kid's personal lives. When I have visited the campus, it is always such a great atmosphere with the teachers and students interacting with each other. The teachers actually listen to what the students have to say. I think it's a fantastic school. I would not even think of sending my children to any other school. In my opinion, the state educational board should use schools like this as an example of how to teach/reach kids.

I recently moved my family to the Shelby school area and my children have been there now 6 months. This school is the worst school I have ever seen! There is no academic programs and there is no supervision! The teachers at this school are not real school teachers and they are nothing but a serious joke! I am turning them all into the school board to ask how in the world they can teach like this! please keep your children out of this school!
