After knowing your stance on Sheriff Joe, I would home School my kids before even thinking about let them attend your school. Teach your staff what the word ILLEGAL means.

Despite the ignorance on this site your community backs your choice to not allow such a hateful person to speak to our children. As a parent of 2 (soon to be 3 students) attending a school in the washignton school district I must say that I have always been impressed with the level of education my children are receiving.

Excellent call keeping hatred and politics out of the classroom. Whatever the reason to cancel, he's a grandstander and only after polishing his own inflated ego. Well called.

This principal is a pathetic leader for children. After citing reasons of controversy, he refused to allow the duly elected sheriff of Maricopa County to participate in a school literacy activity. What a shame. Students now have one less positive role model. District values state that the schools honor and respect community involvement. Hypocrisy is so easily dismissed in the face of veiled accusations.

THIS SCHOOL IS BEING TOTALLY DESTROYED BY THE UNION THUG MENTALITY THAT UNINVITED SHERIFF JOE FROM READING TO 6TH GRADERS. THIS IS EXACTLY WHY THE TEACHERS UNION THUGS HAVE RUINED PUBLIC EDUCATION. THIS DECISIO0N IS WHY WE MUST ALL UNITE AND BREAK ALL PUBLIC UNIONS AND TAKE BACK OUR SCHOOLS. THIS SCHOOLS SYSTEM CAN'T EVEN GRADUATE 50% OF IT'S STUDENTS? WONDER WHY? THE UNION THUGS CARE ONLY ABOUT THEMSELVES AND THEIR BENEFITS...THE KIDS ARE CANNON FODDER. THEY COULDN'T CARE LESS. BREAK ALL PUBLIC UNIONS, VOTE IN SCHOOL VOUCHERS AND INCREASE THE SALE OF PUBLIC SCHOOL BUILDINGS TO THE PRIVATE SECTOR. IT'S TIME WE REALLY DID SOMETHING TO HELP THE KIDS. PUBLIC EDUCATION HAS FAILED AND MUST BE REPLACED.

Sahuaro is a fantstic school filled with wonderful teachers, a hard working and involved pricipal, great faculty, and a warm sense of family and community. My sons love their teachers each year and have had the privilege of being inspired to learn by each of them. :)
