Ventana Academy strives to put the student first. Staff members work very hard to structure programs which will benefit all students and to keep up with current research. The principal and board are committed to small class sizes small (cap at 20). This enables us to give individualized attention to each student.

I have worked at numerous schools throughout Phoenix. Ventana is a great school with Teachers who are not only qualified, but care about their students. Students are challenged to go beyond what they think they can do. This school is a wonderful place for a child to learn.

i gave this school a 3 star rating because they were not professional and they were failures either, i feel this school could have put a lot more work into educating the students rather than watching movies every other day! Ventana Academy, you have a lot of room for improvement! A lot!

I used to go to Ventana for 6-8 grade. I absolutely loved it! I was a straight A student who always worked ahead of the class, especially in math. The only problem was, when I got to highschool, things weren't like Ventana at all. The atmosphere is completely different, I, who was once a straight A student, am now a D+ student in 2 classes, a C in another and 2 As and one B in art. This school is great I just wished it had prepared me more.

My son enjoys the students and the staff. Although he is very bright and above grade level, he needs the added attention the teachers give. We are happy with him there.

I believe the teachers and staff at Ventana really care about my child. They understand his needs and know him. It's nice to see that all the students know each other, in and among all the grade levels. It really feels like a community.

My son loves going to Ventana! I have been thrilled with the individual attention he gets and they have fascinating special programs (equine science, gardening, etc.). It has a respectful, gentle atmosphere and the staff does a great job teaching character values and building the children's confidence in themselves.
