Victory High School is a performing school that has served the community, families, and students for over 15 years. This small charter school focuses on the holistic well being of a child, cognitive, physical, emotional, and mental as they progress through high school by providing a secure environment. In making a decision to enroll your child at Victory consider their needs for maturity across all settings. Their is multi-cultural diversity represented among the staff and faculty of the school.

Spoke to principal on 22 Nov 10 to inquire get basic information. Principal refused and she was rude. I asked her, "why should a parent choose your school over a public school"? Her reply was that her school was nothing special. She told me she was unabler and that it would be illegal for her to give me basic information about Victory High School. You would think that a principal would want to speak highly about her schools. Mentioned high points such how many kids go college, AP test scores, or any other helpful info. I am hoping not all schools are like Victory High. We are moving from Indiana to Southern Phoenix. I do not recomend this school to no one.

This is a good school if you want a public school with a private school atmosphere, safe and people that care.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Arizona used the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) to test students in reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8 and 10, writing in grades 5, 6, 7, and 10, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 10. AIMS is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students have mastered Arizona learning standards. Students must pass the grade 10 AIMS in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards on the test.

For high schools, AIMS results, AYP status and graduation/dropout rates are used. Schools are identified as Excelling, Highly Performing, Performing Plus, Performing, Underperforming, Failing to Meet Academic Standards or Pending.
