I would recommend Amerischools Academy - Camelback to other parents. School has friendly and knowledgeable teachers staff, they are interested in involving parents into educational process. Children get individual attention and a good level of education

My son attended 2 years here, grade 4-5. I have witnessed many improvements implemented. We got new principal, multiple after school activities. My son attended Montessori school before transferring here and I was glad how the transition happened. I value very much that this is a small school, with personal attention to all kids. In my opinion the teachers at Americhool make this place very unique. It's a group of people working together well, sharing with kids hobbies, experience.

We were looking for a school that could handle my grandson's exceptional math and science abilities, bring his reading up to snuff and deal with his mild ADD. This school did just that. Wonderful school I highly recommend.

AmeriSchools Academy is a charter on 15th Avenue and Camelback. With 200 students it allows us to express ourselves. It is a creative community that shows us different ways to show your feelings. Something unique about this school is that they follow the FISH! Philosophy. This is program to stay positive. There is Play, Make Their Day, Be There, and Choose Your Attitude. In other words, Have Fun, Be Nice, Pay Attention, and Be Happy.

AmeriSchools Academy-Camelback is a great school. I like it because it s such a small environment and the staff is great. The teachers are very helpful and understanding. They push you to your limits. At AmeriSchools students can feel safe, because bullying is not tolerated. Your child will be happy and safe while attending AmeriSchools. I think it has a lot to do with their philosophy. Here at AmeriSchools we follow the F.I.S.H philosophy. The F.I.S.H philosophy consists of four things, which include making someone s day, choosing your attitude, playing while learning, and being there for your peers and yourself. I love it here and anyone who decides to come will love it too

It takes a village to raise a child, Amerischools is a village that works together for the child, family and staff. I am proud to be a part of the village. The school offers small classes and a super supportive staff.

This school is so open to new ideas! It is one of the last schools around that do not teach to the test, we believe that teaching the whole child is what is important. Small classes does make a difference when trying to help struggling students. The Staff is caring and always look out for each others students, this shows the students that we work as a team and we all expect the same things! As a first year teacher here I have been able to explore so many options for teaching my students, using fun ways to teach unlike the scripted methods used in other schools. We work hard, and we have high expectations but we do it all in a fun happy environment! If you are looking for a school that will keep your child safe and teach him/her how to think and make decisions rather than how to take a test than this is the school for you! I am so happy that I found AmeriSchools.

This school is amazing. After working several years in a large public school district, I am so proud and thankful to now be working for the Amerischools family. The smaller class sizes means I can truly individual instruction and met the needs of EVERY child. The classrooms are huge and offer tons of natural lighting making for a superb learning environment. The children are amazing as well. The students are respectful, responsible and active in sports and their academics. I love that the school believes in inquiry, project-based learning. Something that is nearly unheard of in the larger, over-crowded public school classrooms. Students are truly engaged, challenged and balanced. GO AMERISCHOOLS!

My son attended this school K-8 and I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and the school in general. The teachers spend an incredible amount of their personal time participating in school activities. The work is challenging and the student behaviour is well above average. The kids that go here are very respectful and that is a testimonial to the staff. I'd like to thank the school for giving my child a great learning experience.

My daughter attended this school from kindergarten all the way through 8th grade. I credit her success, she is an honors student, to the teachers and principal of this amazing school. Keep up the good work!

I was very unhappy w our experience with Amerischools. There were many instances where I was not informed or situations were not looked in to before accusations were thrown out and parents were called to pick up the student. The dress code of the staff is at times incredibly unprofessional. The school is very disorganized, and the priorities are completely out of order. My child's teacher was excellent, as well as a couple of the other teachers. They had huge hearts and did the best they can with what they had.

My child has gone to Amerischools for the last 2 years and will continue next year however Amerischool does have a major down fall. They do not provide emergency lunches for kids who forget there lunch or have no lunch that day. I experienced it quite alot the first year and was so angry about it I addressed it w/ the principle. They assured me the kids are given something. I advised the principle to PLEASE notify me so I can take him something to eat. Well it happend again twice this year and I did not get a call. Do you call a bag w/ 10 carrots an emergency lunch? A BAG OF CARROTS! are you kidding me? Talk about letting a child starve all day. That is there hugest downfall.

As a teacher I have to congratulate Amerischools on its dedication to principals. I have taught in many other school but have never seen a school run as positively as this school. The principal knows every child's name and greets them as they walk through the door each day. The small class sizes and skill level classrooms allow education to be tailored to the individual student. Each student has the opportunity to work at their level while still being challenged.

My children have attended Amerischools for the past 6 years. During this time my children have never had a bad experience. I have had the pleasure of volunteering at Amerischools for a few months and words can not express how great this school is! The staff is extremely attentive to its students and the students are very well mannered. I have recommended this school to a few parents, that have since enrolled their children. If asked I am confident they would say they also adore this school. I will continue to recommend this school!

When I was a member of this school, I encountered a lot of violent and disrespectful students. The administration didn't really seem to handle these issues. The parents appear to be running this school. Wouldn't recommend this school.

Both of my kids attend Amerischools. It is a comfortable and kind environment. The teachers know all the students and families. It's GREAT

I have to say the middle school teachers are warm, caring, responsible teachers. They do care about the involvement in their classroom and the students. Any parent who thinks otherwise should make visit in the classrooms. You would see in each of the three rooms an environment that is VERY conducive to learning, caring and being responsible. As far as the discipline, like all schools there is always a kid or two that will act up. Each teacher has experience in how to handle each situation with respect to the student. EXPERIENCE THE AMERISCHOOLS DIFFERENCE!
