Don't send your child to this school. The lunches are uneatable, and the kids rule. They don't even have to come to class to pass it. What's UP?

This is not the school for any serious student wanting a good education. I can't believe it is allowed to stay open.

Career Success is a school that looks to give students the opportunity to suceed in completion of their secondary education. There is an onsite daycare for teen mothers, a cosmotology dept., a culinary program, a fashion and modeling classes, just to name a few. When completed with their studies the students should be able to find employment in various technical fields or be able to attend a college of their choosing.

I am an alumni of CS. It's a really great school and staff that stay on top. They give quarterly report of the progress that the students do and strive for them to their very best.

As a parent I am always concerned about my son. When my son decided that Traditional education was not working for him, we decided to look around for some alternative programs. We looked at various options, and after talking to their admissions rep I realized that this was the right school for him. Now my son has made enourmous improvements in reading and writing Thank you Career Success.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Arizona used the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) to test students in reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8 and 10, writing in grades 5, 6, 7, and 10, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 10. GreatSchools' profiles currently show AIMS mathematics, reading and writing results. 2013 AIMS grade 10 results represent on-track 10th graders for the 2013 test year. AIMS is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students have mastered Arizona learning standards. Students must pass the grade 10 AIMS in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards on the test.

For high schools, AIMS results, AYP status and graduation/dropout rates are used. Schools are identified as Excelling, Highly Performing, Performing Plus, Performing, Underperforming, Failing to Meet Academic Standards or Pending.
