I have 3 children that attend this school, and one that is now in high school. I have a 4th grader, 2nd grader, and 1st grader attending Imagine Cortez Park. They also prepared my daughter very well for high school. I am very close to my children and I worry about their safety. This is my top priority. I am comfortable knowing they will be well taken care of at this school. My children are also held to very high academic standards. The teachers make sure that my children are responsible to do their best. We have struggled financially in the past few years and this school has provided uniforms, shoes, socks, back packs, and school supplies for my children! This has taken a lot of pressure off my family. The administration is wonderful, and Mrs. SCALA is wonderful too!!

Imagine cortez Park is a great school. I have two children in this school and like it very much. We recently moved, but I continue to bring my children here. I feel a sense of community here and that is important to me.

I am a parent of 2 kids who've been in Ms. Weaver, Ms. Chesney, Ms. Paz and Ms. Koski's classes. They are great teachers and like being at this school. I will be sending my Kindergartner there as well. They have attended for 3 years now.

I have had the pleasure to meet Heidi Schloesser the Principal of this school. The love she has for the children and the dedication she shows is amazing and therefore by her example the teachers and aides must be amazing as well.

I initially tested my 4 year old son in to kindergarten at IS-CP because it was centrally located, full-day and had better reviews than other schools I was looking at. His teacher Ms. Goodman is fantastic and the principals are great. He's excelling both academically and socially and I feel like although I'd love for extra-curricular activities to be offered I'm super impressed with the academics side. There is a nearby co-ed t-ball league at Manzanita Ball Club if anyone is interested. The only thing I can gripe about is the laundry list of school supplies each kindergartener has to bring to class on the first day...6 glue sticks, 2 boxes of crayons etc. etc. I understand budgets are tight but really..?

This school is wonderful compared to the other students in the area. The Kindergarten and First grade teachers do an amazing job and my son has excelled in all standardized tests. Ms. Hubert has done a wonderful job and she really cares about her students and their families. I would definitly reccommend this school.

I found this school on the internet prior to moving here to Arizona. I found the Imagine Schools to be centrally located. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Since my child has been enrolled in Cortez Park, I have a fantastic relationship with his teacher Ms.Koski. Also Mr. V the current principal has made his office door always available and welcomes any comments or suggestions. He has a great partner Ms. S, who is always busy assisting children, whether they are in the class or just walking down the hall. My child makes comments on how Mr. V and Ms. S is always smiling, and that makes him feel very Happy. I highly recommend this school! It has surpassed my expectations, great staff, execellent Curiculum and strives for their students to do their best!

Cheerleading is actually open to boys too! There are three coaches who run the elementary cheer program. They have done an awesome job this year!

Elementary school here needs to have more options for sports or extra curricular activities. There is only cheerleading and that is just for girls! Cheerleading is a joke, little 4th and 5th graders are actually teaching cheerleading!

I have 2 kids who attend this school and I have been satisfied with their teacher's in the past. Mrs. Van is such a wonderful, warm and kind teacher. She always has a smile on her face. Her students are very engaged in their learning. Mr. Fidel is doing a wonderful job taking over for the 4th grade class and my son truly respects and loves him as his new teacher. I am proud to have my sons attend Cortez Park!!

I think this school has a few teachers who really love to teach. i have special needs children there. It has been impossible to get the staff to follow an iep. Frequent discussions with administration have not improved our situation. In fact, the administrators do not support the teachers, parents or their students. I was hoping for so much more from this school.

I have a son enrolled at Cortez, and both he and I love this school. He had some minor learning difficulties with reading, and this school has made every effort allowed to them to test, teach, obtain extra reading help for him...he's done nothing but grow and florish. Every school has its good and bad points, but, I truly believe this school is filled with caring individuals that love what they do, it shows.

My children go to this school. When they first started I was very pleased. The teachers were caring and challenged them. This year, I am very disappointed! I can't say that all is bad about this school. There are some great teachers and staff members. The new assistant principal, Heidi Schloesser is a fair and understanding person. She will be a great principal, if they can keep her there. I think the principal Mr. Villalon has a great heart but doesn't know when to be tough. For the kids that are smart there is nothing for them, no challenge. More is being done for those who are ELL and that is only hurting my kids. I will find another school either this year or next year.

I was very disappointed this year with the teachers. There was no sld class nor teacher quilified to teach. One of my children had f's all year and the teacher not once called to inform us of falling grades. I felt this year was a total waste of time and they were better off in public school then maybe they would have learned something. The kindergraden teachers are excellent! Mrs V. Is a very good and fair principal.
