I have two sons that attend venture... and they love it. I have one son that is doing K again (we came from a public school) mainly because I wanted to him learn spalding from the start and also because he needed to grow a little more socially and gain some confidence in himself. My other son has ADHD and has struggled within public school until this year, when I switched them to venture. Both children love their teachers, the come home feeling "so smart" because of the positive reinforcement they get. Most of all, venture is the best school in the valley. take it from me, I have tried many schools from totally strict traditonal schools to arizonas public schools. this school has the best, most caring, innovative teachers around. Your kids will LOVE it here and so will you!

We want our children to see that going to school and receiving an education is one of the best things a parent can give their children and this is their time to enjoy the best times of their lives. Choosing and Starting school for the first time can be a scary one for both the parent and the child, but I found that Venture went a step beyond my expectations. The education system my son is receiving is great. The family like atmosphere and the wonderful caring teachers means that my son is getting the best education NOW! Mr. Bennett is a wonderful principal with a caring yet disciplined spirit. I would highly recomment this school to any parent. Your child will be safe, cared for and most importantly will enjoy learning.

Venture is a small school with farm animals and gardens that produce fruit. They have wonderful teachers with different ways of teaching. It has a sister school named Bennett that we went to which is also a good school but without the animals and plants. Our principal loves understanding bugs, too. So, everyone in this school are close.

Venture Academy is a wonderful school I love it, it's small, one on one with the students they treat the children like family and they really do care about the students. I hear them talk and I love how they are with the children. They principal always meet with the teachers to work out plans to help them in the class room. I pass by the school on the weekends and the principal is working in the yard at the school and my kids wanna know why they can't stop and help Mr. Bennett the principal now that is priceless. The school is a Great One! try it you will like it.

I can not say enough good things about the school. This is my child's 3rd year here and I have to say I have always been happy but this year is the best yet. My child is confident and happy. We are proud of the school as are all of the kids I have met.

Nice school, nice teachers. My daughter loves school. The 4-H program is premature, but has GREAT potential. I only wish they will be able to extend to 5-6th grade next year. I woudl also love to see a computer class also. Bennett has one, but Venture is so much like a family, I wont move my girl back!!

I love this school!!! My 2 sons attended last year and my daughter will be joining them this year. The staff are all attentive to my concerns for my two boys and work with each of their strengths and weaknesses. The staff knew my name from the first week and made the transition from home-schooling to charter school as pain free as possible. Thank You Venture!!!

My daughter has attended Venture Academy for the last two years. It has been a wonderfull experience. They have assisted my daughter with her learning diabilites and helped her to do her best. Mr. Bennett trully cares about his students and is a wonderful principal. He knows all his students very well and takes an active role in there learning process. This is the only school I would send my child and I recommend it to everyone. The family atmosphere is wonderful.

My Son will be returning for his 3rd year to Venture and that wouldn't happen if we didn't believe that the education he is receiving was very good. The teachers help with individualizing to students needs and the Principal is very accessible and communicates issues well and wants to work with the parent(s) to get the best school experience for their child. Our son loves the school and the sign/art/drama class and the farm classes are his favorite. I would recommend this school to any parent.

My son had some issues with health and we looked for a small school to start him out and get him on his way but what we found at Venture Academy has exceeded our expectations. His KG and 1st grade teacher the same teacher both years has been awesome in teaching the children strong language skills, Kindergarten class reading by the end of the school year has been amazing. My son reads like a 4th grader. The Principal and Director are great! They care about the children and even through moving to a new location and other issues they never have let us down. We appreciate them so much and the school, thank you!

My son attended last year when he was in 2nd grade. Overall his experience there was not satisfactory to me. I loved the idea of the school, and really liked the teacher in my son's classroom which is why I gave it any stars at all.

I have two chhildren attending this school and i would not recomend it either. My children will not be attending next year. I believe ths principal has the best of intentions, however, they fall short in being applied to the classroom. He does have very poor communication abilities, and tries to rely on constantly mentioning his credentials and his staffs credentials. I found the school secretary to be more informative, and better equipped to dealing with parents and the public.

I love this school my second grader did a complete turn around in two days of attending. Mrs. Citrin teaches first and second grade and let me tell you something she's a great teacher and she knows what she is doing. If you want a small school this is it. The teachers, staff are great and they really do care about the children I was amazed and very satisfied try it!

In my own personal opinion I would not recommend this school to others. My son attended the 2nd grade through 4th grade combination class. The 'idea' behind this school was far better than myself and my son's experience with this school He will not be attending for next year (08-09).

Teacher are great! K and 1st grade, however I did not like that they put 1st graders in the k class (probably because my child was one of the children) I think it brings low self-esteem Mr Bennett the principal was poor communication with the parents very disappointing.
