I have seen fantastic results since my daughter started with this school. She has improved on reading, spelling, Math and most importantly her self confidence. Students get to be recognized by all the staff members, my daughter enjoys being known by name. This is a great environment for all the children to learn and excel in their studies. The mentality at this school is not if they are going to college but where they will attend the college. If you are aiming high for your child, you will benefit from enrolling your child here at SSA-Ahwatukee.

Excellent school, Great teachers I would recommend this school to anyone. My daughter loves to go to this school. No complaints. Teacher parent communication is very good. No regrets for choosing Sonoran science academy Ahwatukee... The only improvment I want in my child is better handwriting. Other than that, we appreciate the way all the lessons are taught, parents are given an outline of what will be happening the following week in the class. I also like the coolsis system where all the notifications of your child's behaviour is sent on an ongoing basis.

My husband and I made the best decision to enroll our children at this school. Our kids are finishing up their second year and has excelled in many ways. Not only did they thrive in STEM education, they've flourished socially. Parents are friendly and involved. The teachers are personable and knowledgeable: each one truly cares about their students and works hard to see their students succeed. The rest of the staff and administration are well-qualified and friendly, making this ultimately the best charter school in the area!

I have had both of my girls attend to this school for the last three years. The teachers are awesome. The administration is very open, and supportive. We had to leave this year because we moved out of the state, I wish I was able to have them graduate from SSA- Ahw. Their academics have excelled greatly over the years. My kids have shown improvement not only for their academics, but also for their social skills. The school has a fairly big library, a gym, and a computer class. They offer computer skills like typing and office. I just can't say enough about these people, and the impact they had on my family. I am truly thankful and highly recommending this school to anyone who wants a good education for their kids.

School is horrible, compare it to other schools and it is no standing higher then any low rated public school, too many safety issues, to many bulling going on, no responsibilities from teachers or staff/ administration, everyone is blaming each other, and ignoring actual issue, learning is ???, teachers let kids re do the tests just to make grades look higher for school reputation, felt so sorry for kids and pulled them out, now they are trully very happy in new school, learning so so much more then in ssa, Respect yourself and love your child by NOT CHOOSING Sonoran Science Academy....

My child went to SSA Ahwatukee for three years and got a top-notch education and lots of great memories. Since then he's excelled at his current school, and credit is due to SSA for setting him up for success. I'll always be grateful for this school. At the time he registered, SSA was the only STEM school option in Ahwatukee - they knew STEM before STEM got fashionable. And we are thankful for that. Worth checking out as one of the top schools in the area.

We pulled our kids out. There were way to many issues with this school. It did not feel like a real school. We are much happy at our current school and my kids are learning so much more.

Sonoran Science Academy - Ahwatukee is a great school to go to because everything is family-like and you forget that they are even teachers, but you remember them as a family. Fantastic curriculum, strict discipline and a very solid program that starts in kindergarten. The program strongly encourages parent involvement in various aspects and homework starts the very first day of kindergarten.

SSA- Ahwatukee is a positive, nurturing, and happy place to be! The teachers/staff members all genuinely adore every student and know each student by name. Our school has incredibly kind, well-mannered, and enthusiastic students from kindergarten to fifth grade. Our administration/ front office staff are all approachable, caring and completely dedicated. The teachers all have student success and achievement as their top priorities. We are lucky to have tons of support from the amazing parents of our students! We work as a team! I love coming to school each day to see my students. As the teachers, parents, students and administration continue to work together, our SSA-A students will always be outstanding!

I am happy with the school, the leadership and staff. They have been very approachable, and easy to access to when I needed them. I believe my child is safe and that he is getting the top notch education here. The school is also great with communication, weekly parent emails directly from the principal are keeping me posted in addition to my child's teacher's weekly communication. This year Parent's Club has been very active as well- and they keep us in the loop with weekly communication too. The school has positive energy, and everybody makes you feel welcomed. Our teacher has demonstrated herself as a very dedicated and caring teacher. She came to our house with another teacher to talk about academics and keep me posted for behavior too. I absolutely loved the fact that I was able to talk to them, enjoy a friendly personable conversation and ask some questions at the luxury of my home. Who does that? Only if you care, you'd do it. Studies show teachers who know more about their students' lives are able to achieve higher learning. As a educator myself, I see that SSA Staff is going above and beyond their job descriptions to support our kids in any way they can. Thank you SSA-A.

My great grandchildren are doing well academically and are happy with their school. I haven't been to the school myself, but my great grandchildren talk highly of their school and that makes me satisfied. I know that my granddaughter picked the best school for her children.

I don't know what some people are talking about, but do want to share my opinion about this school. This is our third year, and me as a parent, Imam very happy withis school, very approachable and friendly staff, teachers very professional and helpful, something was sai about principal, and just to let you know she is awesome, she work her way to make this school better and better, I do see improvements every single day, she support teachers in every possible way, someone said she is rulling school in her way, not always a good way, but she is the boss, and the way she rules it, its the best way for the school, my kids always happy, always safe. I was thinking that my little one will be giving me hard time, but she is not, she begs to go to school even on the weekends. Savety is great, teachers are great, extra carriculum is awesome, lots of activities for kids before, during and after school. Too bad that there was some budget cuts and they dont have a middle school anymore, otherwise I will never would pull my older kids to different school. But like I said my 2nd and K student are very happy and getting smarter every minute. And if you love your kids and want best for them..

I love this school! As a parent I have complete peace of mind knowing I am sending my precious child to a school which engages, challenges, and nurtures her everyday. The size of the school allows for parent and teacher interaction at a level that you just don't get at a public school. I am left bewildered at an earlier comment regarding bullying, if that were a true statement then parents and teachers would be aware of it. The principal is devoted to the school, very approachable, friendly and most importantly easily accessible to parents. I feel secure knowing that my child is learning and growing in a safe and loving environment,

This is my first year at Sonoran Science Academy Ahwatukee.I feel that this school has a great curriculum and dedicated, caring teachers. I see the administration and faculty as very friendly and approachable. To see a Principle and/or Vice Principle each day gives the impression that they are there, not just for our students and parents, but that they support their teachers/team as well. That really impresses me! The initiative by the Parents Club leaders for parent involvement is definitely a HUGE plus. The Parents Club and faculty makes me feel very welcomed here at this school and it allows me to contribute to my child's education the best way I can. I LOVE the diversity of kids and people. I like the small school feeling it has to it. I definitely think that the staff and administration has a passion for our children's success for their educational future.
