Esperanza elementary is an exceptional school. From their dedicated administrators, caring teachers and kind staff, this school exceeded my expectations. My children gained confidence to become leaders and making their dream of attending college a reality. I would absolutely recommend this school. Go esperanza!

Esperanza Elementary Is a Great School It Prepares Students For Life. It Makes Sure Your Child Is Safe and Comfortable. The Teachers There Treat Every Child With Fairness and Respect.

Posted October 25, 2006

My child was supposed to be at Esperanza, but they put her in a class on the preschool side. Just two Kindergarten classes are on the preschool campus. The children eat breakfast and lunch in a room equipped to seat about 25 kids, with a total of about 18 kids each class means about 36 kids in the room. My child had to stand one morning for breakfast. I am very displeased with this school, and have enrolled my child elsewhere!

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Arizona used the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) to test students in reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8 and 10, writing in grades 5, 6, 7, and 10, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 10. AIMS is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students have mastered Arizona learning standards. Students must pass the grade 10 AIMS in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards on the test.
