Discovery Plus Academy

My kids are doing great here! I love the small class size and the fact that they have an aide for most of the day. The teachers have great communication with parents and I know of the progress they are making before report cards come home.

We love this school... If you want a good education at a one on one level then here is the school for you!!! The bridges program has helped all three of my kids ...They make the kids feel loved and wanted.

My child has gone to Discovery Plus for 3 years now. She had a problem with her vision tracking. The school reccommended that we test her vision. So, we took her to a optomitrist and found that her tracking was not working properly. The bridges program has helped her so much. A group was put together to put a plan in place for her. We found out this problem at the end of her first year. Last year was her second year. She was on the honor roll. With everyone working together and helping to solve this problem made a huge difference in my daughter. She is a new person. She suffered from low self-esteem. Now she is reading much more effectively. She was afraid to read before. She was acting out because of frustration. I appreciate all the school has done to help my child.

I can not say enough about DPA! It is nice when your child does not want to miss school and begs to go. The 3rd grade classroom has 18 students and their teacher even has an aide. My child loves the computer lab and knows more on the computer than I do. I like the family atmosphere and I feel very comfortable talking to the teachers about my childs needs. The school is always trying to find ways to improve. I love going on the field trips with the class. My child's tests scores have shown tremedous growth. I am very pleased with the school and the staff working at Discovery Plus Academy. You can tell that they take their work serious and that the students are the top priority. Thank you!

I really enjoy working at Discovery Plus Academy. It is small enough that you get to know all of the students. There is a saying 'If you have a job you love, you never work a day in your life' that is how I feel. It is a joy to see the children learn new things everyday. This is a great choice we as parents have for education.
