They do a great job with the kids, and they have the best teachers.

Pine Strawberry Elementary School has very high standards and is a very well-run school. It has a small-town feel, but produces big city results.

I think this is an awesome school. It is a small school so students get more individual attention. Aims test do not necessarily reflect how this school did compared to other schools nationwide due to the high percentage of special education students in this school.

Pine school has excellent academic programs in the lower grades. There is a lack of music, art, sports and other extracurricular money for teachers and programs. Parents get very involved as volunteers and so does the whole community. Most teachers do the work of at least 1 1/2 people so that our school will succeed. We have dwindling enrollment, and a lot of special needs children and could use more trained staff. The Make Your Day Program is used for discipline. We have a wonderful principle as last and things have improved a lot.

They have done real well with the little resources they have. We have a new administrator and the whole mood of the school has changed. The kids and teachers have a much better environment to learn/teach in. Their band program is existing on a part time basis. One of the long time favorite teachers has stepped up to teach band again as well as his normal 5th grade class. We have a lot of good people who are helping coach sports as well. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. They have been an integral part of the school for many years.
