This is actually a great school. The 6th grade students are really respectful and willing to learn.

I think the knowledge fed to our children exceeds our expectations, but I would like to see discipline in our children today so they move forward to a better future. I've learned that it is not too late for displinary actions to be brought upon our children, because it gets tougher when our children reach the high school level, they tend to do what they please. Discipline should be our #1 priorty for our children today. We also need more parent involvement to show our kids we care, like actually being at soccer practices or home games.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Arizona used the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) to test students in reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8 and 10, writing in grades 5, 6, 7, and 10, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 10. AIMS is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students have mastered Arizona learning standards. Students must pass the grade 10 AIMS in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards on the test.
