I think that this is a very good school they offer alot of thing such as welding, construction, automotive, equine etc. how many schools do you know that offers that ? some say only badd people attend charterschools wrong they need to do their homework. alot got so they have a more smaller class, maybe they dont cope well with others in a bigger school, or maybe they offer something that other schools dont such as Equine. i dont know many that do except YCFA Achieve Academy. as far as the behavior issuesd every school has issues you just dont see that all the time with 2000 + students in a school but with 300 students it sticks out like a sore thumb but is very normal in All schools. i work at a public school and as far as an alternative school this is by far the best.

I'm quite impressed with this school for my 4th & 6th graders. The teacher is really sweet. The class size is exceptionally small. There are more computers than there are students. Each child has one. My 8th grader also has a very small class. There are buses which go everywhere, which is great for a charter school. I like the focus on the development of vocational skills.

I went to Achieve in 2003-04 and loved it. I made friends for life and the teachers were caring and fun. I wouldn't trade my days at Achieve for anything.

I was a student here in 2005 and even though I was pregnant the teachers and administration made a plan to help me graduate. I loves this school. The first few years that I was there it was a little rocky and i did not learn much, but it has gotten better.

I think this school is great. I brought my child here three years ago from the a public school. Since that time her grades have gone way up from D's and C's to A's and B's. I have found that you can talk to all of the teachers and find a solution for any problem that you might be having with you child. Upon graduation, this school offers your student a scholarship and is currently working with Yavapai College and allowing dual credits for classes. Since the change in administration, the school is great.

I Think this school is a terrible school and I only wish I Knew sooner than today. I pulled my Children out due to the fact of poor teaching and need to mention some teachers act very out of control and more like one of the students that yells and curses out other students. I've recieved one report card and here it's 4th quarter. Never a conference to talk about our child's progress. My children made A's and B's and some C's until they went to this school. Students are basically on their own with no structure from the teachers. There is no parent involement and you'll be lucky to get a issued solved let alone updates on your children. Please think twice before choosing this school. Research on how many students that have been criminally convicted of whatever charges they have, not good.

This school does have its share of problem students. What they are teaching is below the public level. I learned this after withdawling my child from Achieve and enrolling in the public system. Took her several months of doing extra credit to catch up..

It seems to me that this school has received more then it's share of problem children (mine included). I have found that the staff are meeting this challenge better then the public shcools. I applaud the staff and the efforts they have made with my child.

I don't think this is a safe place for kids. The Teachers barely teach. Their is not good discipline. My child and most are not even really learning.
