Christian Academy of Prescott

It depends on your viewpoint. The classes are extremely small (3-5 is not abnormal) in the 5th-8th grades. The curriculum is based on home school texts available to anyone and the teacher turnover rate is very high. The opportunities for extra-curricular activities is very small (sports, theater, band) to non-existent. The school, although promoted as non-denominational, is very closely supervised by the Baptist Church that houses it. While it provides some small level of social integration, at almost $5000/yr, it's a tough decision.

We feel so blessed, that our daughter attends Christian Academy of Prescott She has developed great traits that we are proud of her for; obedience, responsibility, friendship and faith. Bible is at the center of the curriculum She has develop relationships with Principal, Teachers, school staff and Christian friends who have mentor to her in a positive way and by her counting to go to CAP she will only mature in her relation with God. *Principal and administration very loving caring. *Excellent teachers that love God and each student

I am thrilled to have my 5, yes 5 children all at Christian Academy. The teachers are all incredible. I have never seen so many teachers absolutley devoted to teaching and sharing their knowledge. There truly is a 'Christian Attitude' at Christian Academy. My children are in 8th, 7th, 3rd, and two in 1st grade. We are all truly blessed with the excellent education are kids are receiving. I have no concerns with them entering High School. They will undoubtly be at the top of their class.

This is a small private school. Pre-School to 8th grade. The class size is small, about 20 kids in a class. They offer after school day care and great teachers and staff.

Excellent Pre-K preschool program. Teaches phonics, letter recognition, beginning math, social skills. Also has a daycare component for those who need it, but it is separate... at least for one of the preK classes.
