I think that this school really helped me academically and there was a great staff that i could count on to help me, and the sports were great no matter how good or bad you are at them you can automatically be on the team.

I think the school has come a long way but still has a long way to go to be impressive in any way. Things at Salome school were looking good a few years ago but for some reason they are slowly going back to the old ways.

This is not the school to go to if you want your child to get a quality education. And if your child is in need of special education services? Forget it. This is an awful school.

One thing that I like about this school is that it provides more afterschool extracurricular activity for this age than I would expect. 5th through 8th, boys and girls, are able to participate in every single sport throughout the year. In fact, some get into too many. The school has made a huge effort in 2003-2004 to obtain better teachers and to raise the level of education in each classroom. Many things have been done to raise student and teacher moral and to hold teachers responsible for learning and state objectives. We are anxious to see what aid this will be to our testing scores. The principal needs to boot teachers who don't act professionally and thus further raise the positive climate of the school.

I like that the school is small so each student is known by administrators as well as students.
