They provide after school tutoring for math, and reading. Students are awarded with prizes and certificates for achievement, good behavior and attendance. Very good if parents participate in their child's educational growth. The school offers parents to voice any concerns by sending out surveys for parents.

There are 14 to 25 students per teacher at San Carlos Intermediate school. I agree with the other parents comments the teachers at San Carlos are very dedicated professionals. They do put the children first for many of the teachers only get 10 minutes for a lunch break if that, some don't get a lunch break due to conferences or duties. Sad but true. Teachers are underpaid at least at our school for what the tasks they preform.

This is one of the most dedicated staff you will find in the state of Arizona. They put their students needs before their own. They teach to the Arizona Standards and expect their students to put their gained knowledge to work on passing the AIMS test. Parents are expected to come in and learn with their children if they wish. Very family oriented.
