Rio Colorado School is the best school in this area. The new principal encourages parental involvement and always puts the children's emotional needs first. The school provides gifted children many growth opportunities and that is something that this community really needs. Most of the children in this community are English language learners and unfortunately the majority of the attention goes to them. I made sure I discussed this with my son's teacher as soon as he started first grade last year and both his first and second grade teachers have given him differentiated instruction.
