I want to say thank you to Rainbow for being a trusted environment for my children. Ms Heidi is a wonderful teacher. Her knowledge of children and their minds inspires me. Keep doing a great job. You are appreciated.

Rainbow Montessori School has been a wonderful experiance for our three children and our family. This is a family run school for over 30 years. The teaching staff are all certified and have been teaching at the school for many years some over 20 years. We have found the Principal,Vice Principal and teachers to all be very caring and loving people. Just what we wanted for our children. We would highly recommend Rainbow. Go for a tour and check them out.

This is an average school with extremely irresponsible administration. You can never (I mean never) reach or talk to the administration in spite of leaving multiple messages. They also seem to be little rude on occasion. There are not many activities after school. The teachers are mostly nice and efficient. We had to change school for our kids after 2 months. They are in a different school in the city and we are very happy with both school and staff. Overall, I would not recommend this school to anyone at all.

I could not be happier with my experience at Rainbow. Class sizes are small and directresses are personally invested in students and their families. The staff has repeatedly demonstrated their willingness to go above and beyond for students and a genuine desire to create a positive school experience. This is a family environment that provides an easy transition between home and school.

My daughter is in her 2nd year at Rainbow Montessori; my husband and I are amazed at what she is learning. She is 3 and she is writing words by herself and spelling. She is fascinated by the unit subjects so I think they have made great choices. The teachers we have had so far have been caring and nurturing and we are completely pleased. We are thinking of keeping our daughter there through 2nd grade.

This is my son's 3rd year at Rainbow Montessori; he has grown into a patient, kind, helpful child who loves to learn. I feel so lucky to have found this preschool and I know that it will benefit my son for the rest of his life.

We used this school's summer program and found it sub-par at best. The communication with parents was horrible and the director is never around. The price is sky high for classes that only last a few hours a day. There are many better choices than this.

My son has attended this school for 3 years and my daughter for 1 year, and I cannot say enough about how WONDERFUL the teachers are at this school. My son has developed so much in his 3 years there and his teacher, Miss Heidi, has been instrumental in helping him flourish. I have traveled over 60 miles round trip to keep my children going there. The teacher turnover (for head directresses) at this school is extrememly low and most have been there for many years, which tells you that they have great support and love the environment. I would recommend this school to anyone! It is for children of all levels and abilities.

This is the best school in Arizona. My three children have attended Rainbow Montessori School. As a parent this school has offered my family the full circle. The administration will do whatever it takes to get it done. The administration, the teachers, the children and the parents are all connected like a big family. The school is a family run school and they really care about the staff and famlies at the school. Some of the teachers have been there for over 15 years! My children are high achievers and love learning. They are excited about life and are really good kids. I know Rainbow was a big part of this! We visit often and everytime we visit the same teachers and administration are always excited to see us! I highly recommend this school.

I have 3 children that attend Rainbow and I could not be more pleased with their education. My child in kindergarten this year, came out of pre-k reading at almost 1st grade level. In comparison to the peers of my children, mine are bnetter readers, problem solvers and much more confident in their abilities. I wish I could keep them at Rainbow throughout their entire elementary education. The teachers are phenomenal as they recognize and encourage each child's individual attributes and teach to those stengths. I LOVE LOVE IT LOVE IT and recommend it whole heartedly!

This is an outstanding school! The children's lessons are hands on and highly academic. They build the confidence of the child and continue to challenge them. Our child will leave this school well above grade level. The teachers are loving and caring and this family could not be happier! There is not a lot of parental involvement needed as there are 2 aides assisting the teacher and the ratios are very low. Our child receives daily one on one reading lessons something we did not receive with our other child in the public school system. When our child had a difficult time transitioning to Kindergarten, the principle was there daily to help her through her difficult time and both the teacher and principle were in constant contact with me. We highly recommend this school.

My child attended this school for 3 years and we have seen a huge decline in quality. There is a huge lack of leadership and no parental support. You could not pay us to go there and I would/have not recommended this school to anyone.

My son goes to Rainbow Montessori for the 2dn year in the row.We are very pleased with the way that teachers do their job at this school. They are highly skilled and they treat children as different individuals as they are.The children are tought to be indipendent and very helpfull around the others.During the school hours my son enjoys the new information that teachers give him.I recomand this school for any kid that enjoys to be around a happy and smart company.

All three of my children attended this school. Over a period of 6 years, including Kindergarten, they receved a great education. The teachers were great. The Directresses are somewhat invisible, but I think that is intentional. They are not their to meddle in the classroom, they are there to run the shcool and support the teachers, which they do. Children are respected and learn great responsibility. They become self starters and learn to love learning. My children are in K, 2, and 4th grade now. The 2nd and 4th graders are consistently in the highest reading and math groups at their public school. I attribute this academic success, as well as their strong concentration and study skills to the strong foundation they received from the teachers at Rainbow.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
