Shalom Montessori at McCormick Ranch is a place of safety for the emotions of a child that sets the stage for the excellence of the academics they present. After many interviews, having taught and knowing many professional teachers as close friends, this school is the place where my child has soared. Not only has my child grown academically but in becoming more responsible and aware. This is what sets Shalom apart from other more traditional private schools.

Shalom Montessori is an amazing school. I moved cross country just so my children could have a proper education and to be in an environment where bulling just does not happen. If I was to be asked if I regret the move that I made I would say not at all. The move was for my children so they would be happy. When I come to pick them up they come to me with a smile and tell me what an amazing day they have just had, they are so sad that is it summer and can not wait for the new school year. I will always support this school because it has changed my children for the better. Shalom Montessori is a school that I highly recommend to everyone.

We moved from the public school system to Shalom Montessori last school year. We have been very happy with the level of education and care are children are receiving. Our children are thriving in this warm environment and are excited to go to school everyday. We highly recommended this school to any family who wants quality education and a warm loving staff and director.

Shalom Montessori is an incredible environment for any child. The administrator and teachers are caring, competent and wonderful. Both my husband and I cannot believe the level at which our children are learning. It is an ADvancED Accredited school with a strong curriculum that challenges all. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. We also love that it is a green school and that they care about our children from all aspects.

We've been with Shalom Montessori for over 5 years now and it's been a blessing to our kids and a wonderful education experience. This montessori has amazing staff and a great curriculum which benefits the kids big time. Even though it is a Jewish oriented school, it is very open to all races and religions which teaches the kids about tolerance and being kind and open to other including animals and the planet. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This is an amazing school. The teachers are warm, inviting and friendly and the administration competent and fair. The new location is a beautiful picturesque dream and my children cannot wait to go to school every morning. I am extremely impressed by the strong academics, both secular and Jewish. This school is a unique product that nay child would be fortunate to have.

I love the innovative curriculum at Shalom Montessori along with the enthusiasm that the students have for learning and being part of the community. I love that they are not only a Jewish school, the best in the valley, but that they are also a green school. They care about my son on every level. This school is a gem and I am so happy that we found it. I love their new location and the amazing Tuesday farmer's market.

I love this school! Before I heard of this school, I transferred my oldest daughter to several schools within the same year... Once I heard of this school, I put my second daughter in there and she's been in there since. I've watched it grow over the past 3 years and they've maintained their integrity. It's a very positive, nurturing environment that's dedicated equally to academics, social, & emotional development of the child. The teachers are excellent, they know each child's charms, they give nonstop feedback, and they welcome parental involvement. I shouldn't really tell everyone--the school is Arizona's best kept secret!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
