McKemy provided a great foundation for my son. He recently scored a 99 in his PSAT for math. The teachers cared about what was going on and provided great feedback. The parents believe in the school and are involved. He received a well-rounded education being in honors classes and playing sports. This truly is a great school!
McKemy was a terrific place to learn. I am a former student. I feel the experience I gained from my time at McKemy Middle School has helped prepare me for college and beyond. The teachers and administration cared about me as a person. I would strongly recommend McKemy to all middle school students.
My child received a first rate education at McKemy. My daughter will be moving on to high school. We will miss the caring teachers at McKemy. Great orchestra program!!
This is an excellent school. The teachers really care about our learning.
This is a really good school. I did my student teaching here and the teachers and staff are really conscientious people that care about their students. The principal, Mr. Strudivant, really fights for his teachers and cares about the success of each student. The elective teachers are really great and keep the students coming back. They have developed a plan to change the usual STEM program into STEAM by including Arts in the Science, Technology, Engineering & Math curriculum. Recognizing that Arts, whether it's music, foreign languages, or hands on art like shop are important not just to keeping kids in school, but their cognitive abilities as well. I was lucky enough to have Mrs. Rohman as my cooperating teacher and she showed me what it is to be prepared, knowledgeable and most important, caring for your students. I saw the same level of commitment throughout & recommend McKemy unreservedly!
McKemy has nice students and teachers. The teachers are really fun. We have lots of spirit!
