Prince School has so many talented teachers and the principal is doing an excellent job. Not only does Prince offer weekly classes in art, PE, computers, and music taught by specialists, but the reading program is tailored to meet each child's individual needs, i.e, each child will daily meet with teachers to read on their level, whether below or far above. The drawback to Prince is that there are children who bring problems from home into the classroom and there is a lack of parental support for some students regarding their behavior and their homework.

When my son attended at this school, he learned so much from the all the teachers and staff. The teachers really care about their students and are willing to go to any length to make sure the student(s) understand what is being taught. The principle is very involved w/ the students and parents. Only problem i saw was the lack of participation on the parents part. There were many times i was the only parent who would be at the pto meetings. They need more parent involvent. So parents step up to the plate and help this fine school!!!

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Arizona used the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) to test students in reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8 and 10, writing in grades 5, 6, 7, and 10, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 10. AIMS is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students have mastered Arizona learning standards. Students must pass the grade 10 AIMS in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards on the test.
