Manzo is a small neighborhood school. The students, families and faculty work together to make it a welcoming place, aiming for academic excellence, withhigh expectations for students. We have planted a Desert Biome on a vacant lot, begun rainwater harvesting, and are practicing reconciliation ecology. We have a real team spirit. Our times are tough for our families, and school district. We are all working together to make it better!!!

Manzo is a caring community school with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The school's academic focus is the environment and sustainable ecology. Through the efforts of staff, students and parents it has developed a water harvesting project and beautiful desert friendly gardens.

I used to teach special education classes at Manzo elementary. It is a wonderful school that is an important part of the community. The special educaton team is the best I have worked with. The school counselor is innovative and an incredibly positive influence on the students and the community. Manzo elementary is like an extended family for the students in the community.

My children adore their school and the staff and teachers go above and beyond for the students. The principal Mr. G. is gracious and very hands on...I wouldn't have my children go anywhere else.
