My son has terrible handwriting and needs a "few extra minutes" to complete assignments. In recognizing this, the teacher volunteered 30 minutes after school of her time (@ no cost) to help him. While it has been 6 months and his penmanship improved when writing cursive, not printing so much. But the biggest change has been his ability to stay on topic with his class by completing his classwork each week. Just an extra 30 minutes twice a week has made a difference. I'm happy and grateful to them for doing something about it that didn't benefit them, except the karma for doing the right thing.
