My son would have had to wait an entire "extra" year to start Kindergarten according to public schools and the age cutoff date because his birthday is in November. Instead, he has successfully completed Kindergarten "early" and was able to do advanced 1st grade level work so he wouldn't be bored doing things he already knows.
I am a current student at TLC, Im in the 7th and 8th grade class and what I would have to say about the school is that its probably one of the worst charter schools to go to. The drama there is unnbearable!!! So, if you like drama..go there. Also, it effected me in my school work and my family life. The people there are stuck up and annoying, There are 100 some students.. not 50. I've noticed that bigger schools have less drama. So your better off going to a public school.
As a parent of five kids, I like knowing my kids are in a good and safe environment at school. At TLC, I know my kids education is in good hands.
