Parent involvement details Communication with your family is important for your student's success. We stay in contact through regular emails to parents, weekly newsletters, social media, and through website updates. We also host family events such as the multicultural potluck meal, friendship picnics, and the spring festival.
Approach to addressing and preventing bullying We create a culture of inclusion and respect that welcomes all students, and reward students when they show thoughtfulness and respect. We monitor student behavior and enlist the help of all school staff who see and and can influence students every day. We train school staff to prevent bullying and set a tone of respect in the classroom by managing student behavior. We support and celebrate each student for who they are, and support a multicultural environment.
