La Paloma is a well organized school. The only Downs is that children have very little saftey and anyone could come as they please. The school is also very strict.

Our son enjoys La Paloma. As it is a small school everyone is on a first name basis. I am disappointed in the school's lack of foriegn language, sports, band or instrument instruction and weak math and reading scores.

This School has really changed my child's life. When he went into the school he was a stright F student. I picked La Paloma Beacuse of the good facilties. From the very first day he was given the attention he needs. Now in 9th grade, my son has Gold Honor Roll and he also on the track team. I thank la palamoma.

This school is great. All parents will love it. It seems to me this is the perfect school for anyone. My son had very bad grades. After attending La Paloma his grades soared sky high. Now He is a Gold Honor Roll Student and Captain of Catalina Track Team. I thank La Paloma. Any child is well off there.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Arizona used the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) to test students in reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8 and 10, writing in grades 5, 6, 7, and 10, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 10. GreatSchools' profiles currently show AIMS mathematics, reading and writing results. 2013 AIMS grade 10 results represent on-track 10th graders for the 2013 test year. AIMS is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students have mastered Arizona learning standards. Students must pass the grade 10 AIMS in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards on the test.
