No matter where you enroll your child into school, it's up to you as a parent to get involved with your child's school, to show your interested in what they do. It will matter to them in the long run!! San Xavier Mission School is life a family, you get to know one another as parent and get introduce by your child to their new found friends and you end up being friends for life and sometimes until you leave the school. Regardless you remember each other and are able to ask 'how are you doing' and 'how's your child doing', etc. You are no longer strangers......

I've been with San Xavier for more than nine years and my oldest children graduated from there and was accepted to San Miguel High School, which is also a catholic school with great academics. I strongly encourage a child to be enrolled at SX Mission school. You received the individual attention on your child's needs and learn better. My youngest has problem with reading and was observed and found out, she needed glass. Little things like this makes a big difference because the teachers are willing to remedy the problem to help the child. He or she is never left behind!! As for the parent involvment, it's true there's not a lot of particpation, but it's up to each parent to decide how they would like to be there for their child (i.e taking part, socializing with other parents, take interest), so the child will know you care. Over-all it's an excellant school!

The academic grades of this school are below average in this school. The parent involvement is really not good these parents don't care about the childs education.
