Amazing school and we have literally looked at ALL of the private schools in the Tucson northwest and northeast side. Mrs Shadonix is a caring, well- informed and professional principal. The curriculum is top notch. We highly recommend parents to go and see this school for yourself. Compared to the other private schools, it is the BEST! It has all the test scores and happy parents and children to attest to this fact. Tuition is inexpensive ($3500-4000) compared to the other schools($7000-8900). Facilites are exquisite. They have a wait list since of course the school is in HIGH DEMAND...go and see for yourself!! AMAZING SCHOOL!
The school has a great feeling about it when you walk in. Wonderful teachers, staff, students & principal. They are all caring & polite. Parent involvement is strongly encouraged & welcome. It is the best school my children have ever attended. My oldest child attended 7 different public schools so I can compare it with others personally. None of them even come close to SEAS. I only wish it were built earlier so my oldest could have attended!
Caring respectful teachers with attention placed on their students.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton- Tucson, AZ. uses Stanford EPGY program. Mrs Shadonix the principal listens, cares about the needs of her school. This school is only is very new with the latest technology, Smartboards are in every classroom. My two children went to this school and this has been the best experience for them. Jr. High has helped my son prepare for High School and the teachers are on top of it!
This wonderful Catholic school continues to be a great and worthwhile investment not only in our daughter's academic life but also in her social and spiritual growth. The teachers truly love the students, the parents are involved, the kids enjoy sports and clubs afterschool; we feel she is well-rounded. The parish/school campus is beautiful with a gym, a field with grass and mountain views, and seperate buildings for PK/K, grades 1-6, and then junior high all of which are grounded by the church. The students learn leadership and community service by doing. The SEAS technology lab is cutting edge plus there are Smartboards and computers in every classroom. Gym, Spanish, Art, Technology and Music are offered in addition to all the core subjects. Yet, the thing that you'll notice first is how happy all the kids are at SEAS and that's what really sets it apart! Happy Children!
Well worth the investment. Mrs Shandonix is an excellent principal and truly cares about her SEAS children and their parents. The teaching staff they have assembled at SEAS is far better than at the previous private school my daughter attended. The facilities are second to none, and the school was planned out very carefully with regard to age groups, how the grades interact with one another, as well as the playground equipment. A very technically advanced school as well. They stress both Macs and PCs. SEAS is a top performer each year it has participated at SARSEF, the regional Science Fair held each year in Tucson. Parent involvement is mandatory, which shows how much they value a sense of community and belonging. The parent website is excellent. You can check on homework assignments and report cards, as well as financial information. A very satisfied parent!
SEAS is a very good school with high standards for academics, values, personal growth, and community service. The principal, Mrs. Shadonix, is fantastic. She genually cares and knows all the kids by name. Each month they base their curriculum around a value or a virtue, such as 'patience,' 'honesty,' etc. You can check on your child's grades for each test, assignments, etc., 24/7 on the parent web site. Individual teachers will offer tutoring if a child is struggling on their own time. Parent involvment is mandatory for 50hrs per year, which fosters a strong community. Last year's 6th grade class scored 99th percentile in math and 100% percentile in the other two subjects of the AIMS test. It's worth the financial sacrifice of private school.
