My son attended Kindergarten there and Mr. Bedoya was Great! He is the best kinder teacher! At Carver, just like at any other public school in town, sometimes the teacher makes the whole difference. If you get the best teacher for that grade and request them, I think Carver is a really good school. After my son attended Carver he went to private school for a year. He will be returning to Carver this coming year. Private school was great, but I didn't feel it had a significant advantage academically or otherwise that was worth the tuition I was paying.
I would like to say that G.W. Carver Elementary School is the best school for your children to attend. I have worked for several schools in the Yuma area, and Carver School is one of the best schools in Yuma. The teachers are so knowledgeable and the principal is always there for the teachers, students and staff. Way to go Carver Cobras!! A former student-teacher in Room T

My daughter is attending G.W. Carver and she has had nothing but great experiences. The teachers are professional and knowledgeable. The students are loving, grateful, and well-rounded children.
