High standards, all advanced classes and teacher training. Looks great after flood 2010-2011 school year. Wonderful principal!
It needs alot of attention, paint, safety lights broken, bleachers just down right dangerous. It needs work, alot of it.
I would rate this school somewhere around average, in my opinion. It's not awful (that would be Arkadelphia High School, 9th through 12th grade), but it's not amazing. The teaching is pretty good, and they are strict about the rules. This is something I didn't like much as a student but am okay with now that I am no longer at Goza. The problem is the students. They begin to act quite badly, which often interferes with education and fun things at the school, such as field trips and eating lunch with friends. The school isn't great, but it's okay. Just make sure to find a different school by the time your child is in the 9th grade, because Arkadelphia High School is unacceptably bad. I think this is the 7th or 8th year of School Improvement for AHS.
This school is really nice. It teaches you really advanced stuff, and often teaches you stuff higher than the grade level. The things they taught in 6th grade are the things they are teaching me now in 7th grade! Believe me, it is a really nice school.
