Barton Lexa High School used to be a great school. Then they starting letting everyone out of the district come there. Then it went to below average (In my opinion). Also when the new High School Principal was hired, alot of nonsense and harrassment of the students has began. Alot of kids are going to drop out or get GEDS because of him and the hardship he has put on these "already High expectations of the kids at Barton. Personally I would drop out if i was a student there! Teachers are mostly all uptight and do not have open minds or kindness.

Barton is a nice school. This year our new Superintendent Mr. Vent has changed our school around and made it nicer and cleaner. He comes in our classrooms daily and is very friendly. Mr. Bagley and Mr. Vent are doing a great job this school year. Don't believe what you hear about Barton because I hear a lot of things and it's not bad so don't pull your students away pull them in. Go Bears!
