Southside Elementary is one of best elementary schools in the area. The new building and grounds are in excellent condition and the teachers are the best.

My children have attended Southside School for 2 years now. We are not having such good luck with Southside School. Both of my children attended Batesville School District before Southside and both of them did better at Batesville. Batesville had a more hands on approach to learning that my children enjoyed and excelled at.

Southside elementary provides a caring, motivating atmosphere for learning. My son has enjoyed the music and art programs as well as the computer lab acitivites. I have found the teachers to be caring and dedicated. The administrative staff is knowledgable as well as approachable.

I attended Southside High for 4 years. I have a child in the first grade now and another will start next fall. I am very proud of our school, the teachers and the administration. I feel that everyone in our district wants each child to receive the best possible education. I also believe that we have some wonderful people doing their best to help us raise our children. When a teacher, principal, etc. is spending as much, if not more, time with a child as the parent - they are helping to raise that child. I give thanks for those who are sincere and want the best for my child. Southside School is a great school and I wouldn't consider sending my kids anywhere else.
