BB High School has recently been given a new Principle and he is genuine and amazing. As a former student many years ago, this is by far one of the best communities to go to school. The students are well behaved, mannerly, there is no violence, and the school staff ratio to students is very, very good. Each student is known by name. School leadership does hold students to a higher level of personal responsibility than most. Their foundation builds well mannered, responsible adults. There is a strong support of sports, simply because most of the students play or participate in one form or another, including the players, band, cheerleading, dance, etc. The parents initiate this support and the school is accurate to promote it. The community largely supports all school functions. It's an excellent place to send your children to learn.

This school has teachers that teach their kids on a large curve due to the tests being so hard that the failure rate is overwhelming. They poor all of there money into their football team instead of spreading it out among the various clubs/school activities leaving many with no budget. For example the band's school instraments have not been changed since the 90's leaving them easily breakable and very un-manageable.

I am sadly disappointed with this schools ability to help or to even be concerned with enrolling a new student. We have been handed several obstacles that should have been non issues. We feel like outsiders wanting into a private school.

The Superintendent blames the district voters for not building a larger high school which will be required to meet state standards. However, during his tenure he has overseen and promoted the building of a number of sports related buildings for the school that are used by a small number of the students.

I am not a parent, but I did attend Beebe Public Schools. I would rank this school higher than any other school in Arkansas. The teachers and all the support staff truely care about each student and the well being of the students.
