As a former student, I'll give you my personal thoughts on the school. It wasn't that bad of a school. I just hated and still do hate the lack of culture. They don't teach diversity and they don't have diversity. I can understand that small areas have small diversity but the lack of understanding is what really bothered me. I am multiracial and my entire time I went there i constantly heard intolerant jokes about Asians. yes, some were funny and okay but there is a time to stop all of the nonsense and realize that i don't' like being poked fun of my entire day. Also, the exchange students got made fun of when they didn't understand. It was just the lack of knowledge on anything other than well 'Bismarck' is what really bothered me.

Well where should I start? Bismarck is a horrible school. I am a senior and will graduate this year. I love many of the teachers there, but they are all starting to move or quit due to the administration that we have now. I am sorry to say that I will graduate from Bismarck High School. The students here do not want to learn and most of the teachers neither care to teach them.

I graduated from Bismarck Public Schools. I attended grades k-12 at the school. I was not as prepared as some of my collegiate counterparts when I arrived at college. I believe the school is in greater disarray now. Good people, faculty and administration, are leaving the district claiming mistreatment. The atheletic programs have greatly declined. The times I've been back in town I've noticed student morale and spirit have also greatly declined. I believe this decline can be attributed to seven administration changes in nine years. The school is unstable at best.

Both of my children graduated from Bismarck High School & I taught at the school for 27 years. I consider it to be a good school. Yes, it is multiracially limited, but that has more to do with the population of the community than the school itself. There are segments of the student population that are intolerant of people who are different from the norm. Unfortunately this is a characteristic if our entire country, but as with the country, the intolerant segment is not the majority of the whole. The instruction is good due to the training, experience, & dedication of the staff. The people who work for Bismarck School District like kids. There is genuine concern for the well-being of each & every child.

I am a graduate of Bismarck, and I think it is a wonderful school. I will graduate in May with a Bachelors degree, and if it were not for the wonderful education I received at Bismarck this may not be possible. In regard to the other reviews, the administration, etc. has nothing to do with the diversity of the school. Furthermore, the limited diversity has nothing to do with the quality of education, extracurricular activities, or reputation of the school. Bismarck is a great school with excellent teachers and administration.

I am a student at this school. I have only been here for one year. It is a pretty good school but it has a few problems. One-It has no black people. Well they have one in high school. One out of 306 is terrible. Two-I have heard that it has alot of money but wont spend it. This school needs to spend it's money.
