I nothing good to say about Blevins!! There are a couple of Teachers there, but they are far & few between!! If you are lucky your child will get a good one! If not...(like Ny Son who was in 2nd grade last year) It was AWFUL!! He went from reading on a 6th grade level down to 1st, Only because the teacher he had wouldnt work with him!!! I am soooo glad that we moved & got away from Blevins!!

I began my career as a teacher at Blevins Elementary and still feel that the community is very supportive of its children. I would like to teach there again after I retire from TX this year. Pat Powell Skelton

I have nothing but good to say about blevins elem. They have the nicest staff of teachers. They go out of their way to make sure a newcomer is very welcome. Also they test a child who has been at an another school,to make sure what they need to strive at their new school. I can't say enough godd about the principal, Mrs. Singleton. She helped my son in a way no one has ever in 10 years. Thank god for teachers like the ones at blevins elem. & High school. Wish they could mold the teachers of our future!
