As a recent Brookland graduate, I am thankful for my teachers that I had. Like the teacher below posted, what we do with the knowledge and skills we gain is up to us. I know that all of my teachers were well qualified and taught us and provided us with the tools we needed to go out into 'the real world' or otherwise college. It was the student's responcibility to learn from what they were taught and do something meaningful with their life. I know that I'm going to take what I learned and go far in life. Go Bearcats!

In response to the long quote starting with 'I cannot name one person that has graduated from Brookland and went to college and has acheived something in their life.' You are all over the place with your post. (You've went from graduates who can barely read children's books to parents and ball games to dating relatives then money for a football program all in 1 paragraph.) Let's try to focus on one problem you would like to address. We educators, teach this simple technique in every core course. We strive to supply the students with tools they need to succeed - now what they do with their knowledge and skills once they graduate is up to them.

I cannot name one person that has graduated from Brookland and went to college and has acheived something in their life. Not one. Brookland is so busy with all their extra cirricular activities that they do not worry about the kids' grades that play sports. I know a few people that graduated from Brookland that have problems reading childrens book. I know some parents that miss their childs parent/teacher coferences but Ill be damned if theyre not in the front bleacher at the basketball games. Not all parents are like this only about 95% are. Not to mention that the kids have to watch out who they date in high school because they are probably related. Sad. And now they are thinking of using state money to start a football team when they are using the books and desks they used when my grandparents attended. Hope this review helps.
