My children attended private school last year. I was very apprehensive about sending my son to this school. I met with the principal before school began, and she seemed very eager to work with me. My son's teacher this year is AWESOME. He is in third grade, and he has had a GREAT year. He even got to participate with the Quiz Bowl team.

This is the first year that our child has attended this school district. We came here from the east coast. My son's teacher is great but the district could use some improvement. Not enough information on the website or updated board meetings. Parents have to hear everything through gossip, not the most reliable source.

Would have to rate as low class education and low class leadership... Melanie churchill is too involved in furthering her own career and the political friendships of a small town that she has forgotten the children, the parents, and community. This is not a school for the family oriented community, but rather for the who's who.

We have only been here for one semeseter, but I am not very pleased. My son had an extremely hard time with the transition. The students nor the teachers seemed to make it any easier on him. However, once I informed the principal of the situation, she stepped in and held a class meeting. Another good aspect is that they have been on some interesting field trips that weren't available to us at our former school.
