My daughter is new to the school this year. She is in the tag program and really enjoys it. Yes the work is way more challenging than her previous school but she needed the harder work. She actually has to study and work hard for her grades. The students learn life long skills like organization, deadlines, managing time. The also work in groups so they learn how to work with others. The teachers give contact info. in case we have questions with assingments. The school is great. As for the bullying me child has nothing but great things to say about the students. As for the students i have meet personally the are all very nice helpful kids.

College Station provides an adequate education for underprivileged students as well as privileged students. There are growth opportunities, high expectations, and strong staff support that is very evident here. Our school modo is 'Failure is not an option,' and everyone is working together to see that our modo becomes a part of not only our school but the community. We at College Station Elementary love each other and love the students that attend our wonderful school.

the education my son is getting in the TAG program far exceeds what he has received in th past..it challenges him. nothing ever has before. Both my children have reported to me that they, along with others were being bullied on the play ground and were ignored when it was reported. This to me is a major issue which if not soon corrected will be a problem. A good education is important...but not at the cost of a childs safety.

After my child kept bringing home home notes from the teacher stating there were problems in the classroom involving with my childs behavior, I decided to visit the school and observe for my self what was going on. As expected my child was on her best behavior, so I focused on the teacher and the other students and what I saw was alarming. The notes my daughter were bringing home may have been a true reflection of her behavior when I am not around but notes must be also going home with every student. This teacher has absolutly no control over the students. The children were doing their own thing. And children will be children and do what you allow them to do. I was so disapointed with this teacher I had to walk out of the classroom. My comments are directed toward this teacher, not the whole school.

This school is NOT what it use to be. Most of the original teachers in the TAG program have left. The program is not the way it was in the past. The chances that this school provides is outstanding but parental involvement is a must to make it work because some of the new teachers and the principal don't have a clue! As it is, this is NOT a good start to Fuller and Mills.
