Bellepoint alternative school has been wonderful for my daughter. Now, only after 3 weeks she's become a straight A student and is happy to go to school of the mornings. I'm not worried about her skipping school or getting a call from the principal.Obviously their academic programs are fantastic, considering hardly any students are failing. The classes are smaller and the students get more attention. Parent involvment...I get called everytime there's ever a meeting or she gets called to the office. This is not a bad school for bad kids by any means. There are not any sports at this school but they do have physical education. Parents might think it's upsurd that there are no sports...but these teenagers are here to be punished...not forced. -TN-
I sent my daughter here after problems at regular school, she worked her way out in a short time, gained a wonderful attitude and also respect. The biggest problem is that parents don't care. Went to open house/PTA meeting, there was every teacher and one parent, me. That is sad! It's a wonderful program if people would use it.
